Helping the Abandoned and Neglected Animals in our Community

Most people have been brought up to learn, respect, and love our world’s marvelous biodiversity. Though it being from a teacher, a parent, or even from stories like Jungle Book or the Lion King. Yet everyday, animals are being abandoned, neglected and tormented. For this reason, The Greater Birmingham Humane Society serves as a beacon of hope in this community by taking an active role to put an end to the suffering endured by these helpless animals.

For decades, this benevolent organization has contributed to the well being of people and animals in our community. Some of the programs being offered by GBHS are: adoptions, animal cruelty investigations, humane education, pet surrendering, disaster preparation, and volunteering opportunities for community members. In 2016, GBHS took in approximately 20,000 unwanted animals.

Our agency hopes to support the ongoing efforts of the GBHS by helping with the cost of vaccination that is crucial to the well being of all. Join as we raise awareness and funds for this amazing cause!
